Please note that Clowne Community Centre and Villa Park Playground are closed due to Coronavirus measures introduced by HM Government until further notice.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience but I hope you understand that public health is our primary concern at the moment.

The Cemetery on Barlborough Road is still open for visits at the moment but strict social distancing measures are in place.

Notice of Vacancy for Clowne Parish Councillor 

The Returning Officer for Bolsover District Council has advised that due to the Coronavirus the election planned for the vacant position of Clowne Parish Councillor has been postponed to a later, as yet, unspecified date.

Please be advised that an Extraordinary Meeting of the Council is to be held on Monday 6th July 2020 at 6pm.

An agenda and details of how Parishioners can view proceedings online will be posted on the website on Thursday 2nd July 2020.

Weekly Parishioner Surgeries

These surgeries are an opportunity for Parishioners to meet their Parish Councillors and raise issues and areas of concern with them. Surgeries are normally held every Saturday in the meeting room at Clowne Community Centre from 10am until 11am.


However due to Coronavirus please be advised that weekly surgeries are postponed until further notice.


Barlborough Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund


Clowne Parish Council has teamed up with Barlborough Ltd to support projects from 'not for profit' organisations operating within and benefitting the community of Clowne parish. 


Local Groups can apply for grants up to £250.


Groups should complete the application form attached and return to the Clerk to the Council.
